An appetizer that is both simple and indulgent. This blackberry balsamic baked brie unites the flavors of sweet maple syrup, tart blackberries, balsamic vinegar and walnuts all over a molten wedge of brie.
While brie is cooking, combine balsamic vinegar, maple syrup and jam in a sauce pan over low heat. Stir consistently until mixture is smooth and warm. Remove from heat.
Top brie with the sauce, crushed walnuts and blackberries. Serve immediately.
